Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The fourth edition of LEAP 2025 Tech Conference was kicked off in Riyadh (Sun, 9 Feb, 2025 – Wed, 12 Feb, 2025), attracting significant investments and strategic partnerships totaling over $14.9 billion on its first day. These investments focus on infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology stated in a press release on its website that the first day of LEAP 2025 witnessed remarkable launches, investments, and strategic partnerships that bolster the Kingdom’s leadership in artificial intelligence, advanced technologies, and the global digital economy.
According to the Ministry, Saudi Arabia attracted $14.9 billion in investments in artificial intelligence on the first day of the LEAP 2025 Technology Conference.
This includes over $10.9 billion in quality investments in infrastructure and artificial intelligence, as well as funding rounds for Saudi Start-ups.
Investments in Previous Editions of LEAP
The Ministry’s website indicates that the total value of new launches and investments witnessed at the LEAP conference in its previous three editions reached $29.3 billion.
The value of new launches and investments in the previous edition (2024) was $13.4 billion, according to the same source.
The fourth edition of the conference began on Sunday in the Malham region, north of Riyadh, under the theme “Towards New Horizons,” as stated by the Ministry.
The conference runs from February 9th to 12th and features over a thousand international speakers and technology experts, 1,800 exhibiting entities, and around 680 start-ups.
